To abide in God is to know rest, peace, and fullness of life. The best place to start is in His Word. There we discover the truth about who God is, what He does, how He made us, and how we are to live. We see the larger story of God's plan of redemption, and we are oriented to our place in it. We learn about true relationship with Christ, the reality of the Holy Spirit, the joy of prayer, and the gift of community. As a result, our longing for God both increases and finds satisfaction.
